Following on from a research trip to Germany last year, our Managing Director Mark Armstrong, was blown away by the new FUNKE HS Pipe and fittings.
The pipe, which is being hailed as ‘revolutionary’, is an innovative alternative to clay and concrete sewer networks. The newest pipe to the Highland market, developed by German company Funke Kunststoffe, is made from high-strength, solid-wall plastic.
The FUNKE HS will allow for less fitting issues due to its lightweight nature and easy cutting. By being lighter than your traditional clay pipes, it’ll also minimise the risks of health and safety issues and will significantly save on material, labour and plant costs. The HS Pipe can also be used with an abundance of innovative adaptors that are easy to use and will eliminate the need for lots of junctions – what more could you ask for?
Well, to top it all off, the new FUNKE HS pipe exceeds the current specification set out in sewers for Scotland! It’s with great thanks to Innes Pipes for supplying these locally, that we have now been able to install these ground-breaking pipes around the Highlands & Islands for our customers!
